Oppo Reno pop up sharkfin camera back

Two weeks after its Chinese launch, the has been officially announced for global markets. Besides the two versions already detailed at the Chinese launch – the regular version and the 10x Zoom version – there’s also a third variant, the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom 5G.

The standout feature of the Reno is the 10x periscope zoom, with its characteristic “sharkfin” pop-up camera, but don’t expect to see it in future Reno series devices. Oppo Reno camera

All three versions of the Oppo Reno camera rely on a  Sony IMX586 1/2-inch sensor and f/1.7 lens as the primary shooter. The two Zoom variants back that up with a 13MP periscope 10x hybrid zoom camera at f/3.0 as well as an 8MP ultra-wide shooter with 120-degree field of view. In terms of layout, the 48MP is up top, the wide-angle is in the middle and the zoom is at the bottom. The regular Oppo Reno camera has the 48MP main sensor paired with a 5MP secondary camera.
